My Philosophy

Eric Allen of Stifel meeting with Client

I believe a financial advisor should be able to successfully explain his ideas to a fifth grader.  If he can't, the investment has no place in a client's portfolio.

Boring, in this context, is actually a good thing.

Successful investors should mimic the tortoise in the classic tale of the tortoise and the hare – we all know who wins the race.  I implement this approach with the heart of a teacher, making sure clients understand what they own and why they own it, and living by the Golden Rule.
